Kokoart Studio is hot at work on the paper editions of the comic and a Stick in the Mud card game! We’re preparing to kickstart stuff around March and really excited*.
It makes it even weirder to put Stick in the Mud on a hiatus that should last 1-2 months.
It’s not an easy decision, but I’m simply burnt out- I recently finished a big storyline and I probably should’ve taken a break from the comic back then, but I swam on, carried by the apocalyptic wave of enthusiasm. I need to take a breather, start to miss these characters, this type of humor, and to think about what I actually want to see in the comic in the future. Otherwise I’ll be forcing the strips which will end up weaker, boring and lifeless (probably the worst that could happen).
During the hiatus I’ll be drawing the next part of A Quartz Bead– I invite those interested to join my Patreon.
